Industry Code of Good Practice is the minimum acceptable practice within an industry. Industry Best Practices go beyond Industry Code of Good Practice. Industry Best Practice can be set by default. If an improvement can be made in any area Best Industry Practice has not been achieved. Failure to adopt “Industry Best Practices” could be deemed a failure to meet the “duty of care” requirements.
